One day left in the second week of school. I am ready for the weekend... I wish it were a 3 day weekend again! I have so many things nagging at me to do them, that I don't even know what to start with. And this school year has barely started. I'm tired of being stressed all the time - and it certainly can't be good for me. Group projects are going to be the end of me this semester... eek. I have so many of them, it is absurd. And we are working on one now, and my group is just not doing anything. NOTHING. They won't respond, they won't talk about it... nothing. This is a huge project, due in less than 2 weeks. I'm trying to do the first part, but I have to find an article about a certain thing, and well, I've spent about 10 hours (I'm not kidding) so far looking, and I haven't found anything suitable. There are 4 other people in this group, shouldn't I be getting some help here?! *sigh*


Anyhow, life goes on. I need to get to my pile of homework - so I guess I'll get to that.

SUPPORT HOMESCHOOL FREEDOM IN CALIFORNIA

HOMESCHOOLING IN CALIFORNIA IS UNDER ASSAULT!

The California Court of Appeals has ruled that parents without teaching credentials don’t have the constitutional right to homeschool their children.

This ruling is a very serious matter, but there are legal options still open to pursue in the courts. Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) is working to overturn this decision in the courts.

If, however, the ruling isn't overturned and the law is changed, it would then become illegal for parents without a teaching credential to homeschool in California.

Diamond Dust e-zine needs submissions for our December issue!!!! Our theme is "Magical Moments". If you have a special moment or story that you could share, let us know. It can be a whole story, or it can just be a few sentences describing one special moment. You don't have to be an exceptional writer to share you story. Even a few sentences works for this! I am trying to put together a section for special moments or descriptions of a heart warming experiences. If they are Christmas oriented, great, if not, that's cool too!

Hello! I have come to post my rare update! Finals week shall be upon me, and I shall find myself buried in books studying! Yippie. Well, I guess it might pay to do that.. If I can get good grades. :D Time shall tell! I am very tired.. as it is late. I need to hit the books tomorrow, so I'd better get some rest!

I feel that I should make some kind of entry here, but I have no Idea what to say. So this probably won't be long, unless I think of something. I'm tired. I think I want to read a book. Time changes tonight.. so I have an extra hour to do something. Or maybe I should sleep. Who knows!
I went to the mall this afternoon, and acomplished pretty much nothing. So much for that.. I need to get started on my Christmas shopping. Yeah.. that's about all. I have been searching for a college to transfer to, but that is a whole other story. I think that will have to wait for another day.

I am home!

I think today is "sick" day at our house.. lol Laura had her wisdom teeth out this morning, so she is still under the influence of whatever they give you.
My right hand at times feels like it is burning up...my thumb is taped up and wrapped. I can't do much with that hand at the moment, which is icky, cause I do most things with that hand! It should be ok by tomorrow though :P. I'll live! otherwise that... not much else is going on at the moment.

My graduation is tonight!

I am leaving in a few minutes to go away for the weekend. Yay!! I'm so excited! :D

I want to update now, but I think I need to eat dinner soon. I think I will update more later. My hair feels very heavy... I've had it in a bun all day. *yawns* I'm sleepy.
